DotGov Innovations

A

lthough few people had heard of RSS, DotGov saw the huge potential for Hill offices to better communicate with the press and directly with citizens. We spoke to dozens of offices on the emerging news technology juggernaut. Today five clients have their own RSS newsfeeds and the Senate has followed with some of their own.

DotGov first realized the need for easy to use tools for Hill offices that usually do not have HTML experts on staff. We were the first firm to pass the rigorous security audit and finally give offices a chance to use web content management.

DotGov Communications' database driven sites provide capabilities that have not been possible previously, such as searching just press releases. And DotGov has participated with OASIS-OPEN's Legislative Document Technical Committee, an XML standards group, for several years.

DotGov has years of experience with all of Hill organizations and most of the systems integrators for Hill offices.
